Second Chance Animal Collective is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) cat rescue making a difference in the East Bay. We rescue cats from overcrowded shelters, provide medical care and spay/neuter through our clinic partners, and place them in foster homes until they find permanent families. All donations are tax-deductible and go directly to veterinary care and operations.
Free spay/neuter for community cats. Vaccines, ear-tip, and flea treatment included. Must be in a humane trap — traps available to borrow.

Prevention programs
Together, these programs keep animals out of the shelter system entirely — reducing intake, lowering costs, and improving outcomes for the whole community.
22Return-to-Field
Community cats sterilized, vaccinated, and returned to their outdoor home instead of entering the shelter.
248TNR sterilizations
Cats trapped by volunteers, spayed/neutered for free, and returned to their colony. Prevents overpopulation at the source.
340Community cats managed
Total community cats tracked across all active colonies and feeding stations.
In March, 94 cats found permanent homes through our adoption program. 248 community cats received spay/neuter surgeries through our clinic partners. All cats in our care are placed with foster families — no facility, no kennel time. 74 active foster homes across the East Bay.
